PENGGGUNAAN MODEL MIND MAP DALAM PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract: Application of Mind Map Models in Social Studies Student Learning Outcomes Improved Fourth Grade Elementary School. This study aimed to describe (1) describe the steps in the model of Mind Map social studies improved learning outcomes of primary school fourth grade students, (2) identify obstacles and solutions in the application of Mind Map models in learning social studies in the fourth grade of elementary school. This study is a collaborative action research conducted in three cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results show that: (1) the application of learning steps Mind Map can be run according to the scenario, (2) the application of Mind Map models can improve learning outcomes social studies fourth grade elementary school students. In the pre-action mastery percentage reached 25% of new students, having performed the action in the first cycle of students completeness percentage increased to 93,85%, in the second cycle and third cycle increased to 96,42%. Keywords: models Mind Map, student learning outcomes, Social studies Abstrak: Penggunaan Model Mind Map dalam Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) mendiskripsikan langkah-langkah model Mind Map dalam peningkatan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penerapan langkah-langkah pembelajaran Mind Map dapat berjalan sesuai skenario, (2) penerapan model Mind Map dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Pada pra tindakan persentase ketuntasan siswa baru mencapai 25%, setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan siswa meningkat menjadi 93,85%, pada siklus II dan siklus III meningkat menjadi 96,42%.
