This study aims to determine the significance of the influence of the use of the Argument-Driven Inquiry learning model, academic ability, and interaction between learning models and academic abilities on students' critical thinking skills. The population was eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung. The study samples were students of class VIII A and VIII J that were selected from the population with cluster random sampling technique. This study was a quasi-experimental with Pre-test Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Data were analyzed statistically by Ankova test and LSD test.
