The aims of this study was to know the influence of using practical method with NHT model to the student’s science process skill. This study was a quasi-experimental using pretest-posttest equivalent group design. The samples were VIIE and VIIF class that chosen by purposive sampling. The research data consist of quantitative and qualitative. The quantitative data obtained from the average value of test which analyzed by using t-test and U-test, while the qualitative data obtained from the observation sheet of learning activities and questionnaire responses of student which analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the student’s science process skill was improve with average N-gain 44,07. The student’s learning activities was improve ...
