Abstract: This research aimed to examine the extent to which students writing skill improved fourth grade of SDN 03 Piawas through contextual learning and teachingon Indonesians learning. The method use is the descriptive method with the research in the form is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) in practice there are researcher and collaborator. The subject of this research is the grade four numbered 25 persons. Data collecting used is the writing skill of students observation sheet and data collection techniques that used the technique of observation and test. Research is conducted in two cycle.
