MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR DENGAN METODE INKUIRI ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL KELAS V SDN 18 MARO`O

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research is to improve the learners' learning activities using the inquiry method in teaching Social Studies Class V SDN 18 Maro `o. This study uses descriptive qualitative approach. This research is a form of action research. It can be seen from the observation of an increase in cycle I to cycle II, the physical activity of students increased from 72% in the first cycle to 83% in the second cycle, the mental activity of learners from 46% in the first cycle to 73% in the second cycle, and learners emotional activity of 79% in the first cycle to 93% in the second cycle. Learning outcomes of students also increased, from an average of 64 in the first cycle to an average of 90 on the second cycle. From the results of the implementation of the action research, the first cycle and second cycle, that the use of inquiry method can improve the activity and the learning outcomes of students in teaching Social Studies 18 class V SDN Maro `o. ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik menggunakan metode inquiri pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Kelas V SDN 18 Maro`o. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil observasi siklus I ke siklus II, aktivitas fisik peserta didik meningkat dari 72% pada siklus I menjadi 83% pada siklus II, aktivitas mental peserta didik dari 46% pada siklus I menjadi 73% pada siklus II, dan aktivitas emosional peserta didik dari 79% pada siklus I menjadi 93% pada siklus II. Hasil belajar peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari rata-rata 64 pada siklus I menjadi rata-rata 90 pada siklus II. Dari hasil pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas, siklus I dan siklus II, bahwa penggunaan metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas V SDN 18 Maro`o.
