AbstractBalai Pelestarian Nilai Budaya Pontianak Library is a govemmentinstance. The writer wanted to do this research is for knowing the of this intance. The purpose of this research wa to know the serviceof this library and obstacles in giving the services. Method that was used in this research was qualitative research which is explained the phenomenon based on the data. In order to collect the data, the writer used direct observation, interview and documentation.
