COAL MINING DESIGN USED COMPUTER MODELING AT 8TH BLOCK PT SURYA SAKTI DARMA KENCANA

PT Surya Sakti Darma Kencana open 8th block as the new and latest block need technical design of its mining. This research aimed at designing pit limit, calculate coal reserves and overburden volume, mining schceduling and production, waste dump, hauling road, and open pit drainage. Mine designing of 8th block used coal modeling software based on the limit of Operation Production Permit.Coal modeling of 8th block have 3 seam (A, B, and C). It have total resources 797.715,84 tons according cross sesction calculation. Pit limit designing at 100 m elevation, have total reserves 466.127,84 tons of coal and 1.850.409,01 BCM overburden. Mine schceduling and production of 8th block divided to 8 sequences for accomplishing ±50.000 tons/month production target and ±250.000 BCM/month hauling target.
