Steady increases, which depend on the progression of immunodeficiency, in the incidences of development and diagnosis of secondary, somatic, and psychoneurological diseases in HIV patients are found. The most important for unfavorable prognoses concerning outcomes for patients are increases in the incidences of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, gastrointestinal and liver diseases, and disorders of the CNS, and electrolyte balance and renal functions. Forecasting of secondary and somatic diseases is necessary for estimating of the capacities of specialized medical facilities and possibilities to treat diseases associated with or developing upon HIV infection.Выявлено неуклонное увеличение частоты развития и диагностики вторичных, соматических и психоневрологических заболеваний у ВИЧ-инфицированных больных, на что влияет прогрессирование иммуносупрессии. Наибольшее значение имеет рост заболеваний сердечно-сосудистой системы, онкологической природы, ЖКТ и печени, ЦНС, минерального обмена и почек, что может определять неблагоприятный прогноз для пациентов. Прогнозирование развития вторичных и соматических заболеваний необходимо для оценки возможностей специализированных центров, распределения ресурсов, обучения врачей смежных специальностей вопросам диагностики и лечения болезней, связанных или протекающих на фоне ВИЧ-инфекции
