Nowadays, language teaching is undergoing serious anthropocentric transformations. Teachers, creatively recycling international experience, are searching for innovative activity-oriented methodologies, including a maximum of interactive forms of training in the lesson. One of the most effective among them is staging. After having analysed Spanish literature on didactics, devoted to the peculiarities of staging and drama methods in Spanish as the second language, the authors regard staging as a highly effective pedagogical resource that generates the communicative and discursive multi-competences, motivating students, fomenting their socialization and increasing the attractiveness of a foreign language lesson.
