It is shown that exposure to a weak alternating magnetic field frequency of 50 Hz is greatly decreases the rate of proliferation of mesenchymal stem cells compared to the control samples. Increasing the magnetic field from 28 to 182 μT increase the inhibitory action of a magnetic field on the proliferation of mesench ymal stem cells (MSCs). Studies using PCR demonstrated chondrogenic differentiation of MSCs cultured in complete nutritional medium without special differentiation factors under the action of a weak magnetic alternating field
