© 2019 Author(s). A crystal of authigenic calcite filling the pores of Deltavjatia vjatkensis pareiasaur bone (Kotelnich pareiasaur site, Vyatka River, Russia) was investigated by LA-ICP-MS. Laser and mass-spectrometer operational parameters for trace element analysis were optimized. NIST SRM 610 glass was used for bracketing and CaO was used as an internal standard.
