The purpose of the study is to reveal the heuristic potential of comparative poetics as method of studying works of different national literatures via comparative qualitative research method. As a result, the archetypic memory connected with symbolic of fire and light has basic value for metaphorical and generally-philosophical interpretation of essence and purpose of poetic creativity. In conclusion, in works by Bakhtin the single and uniform, passing and eternal, individual, social and standard and patrimonial essentially settle down at one level, reflecting procedure of formation of sense, characteristic of this type of culture
