About a role of geological science in production of three billion tons of oil in Tatarstan

Parameters of exploration works in the Republic of Tatarstan are given. Design stages of development of the largest deposit of Tatarstan - Romahkinskoye are considered. Dynamics of parameters of its development is presented. The problem of effective development of large highly productive deposits of the republic is solved.
