Self-force on a static charge in the long throat of a wormhle

We consider the self-force on a static charge in the long throat of a wormhole. The example of the self-force calculation in the specific profile of the wormhole throat are given. We demonstrate that the self-force is repulsive in the considered case. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York
