Les VCSELs sont aujourd'hui des composants incontournables pour les applications datacom. Les travaux présentés ont comme objectif principal l'étude des déformations mécaniques induites par les étapes initiant le procédé de fabrication de VCSELs GaAs à confinement par diaphragme d'oxyde émettant à 850 nm. L'utilisation de techniques non-destructives telles que la mesure du degré de polarisation de la photo-luminescence (DOP) et la micro-photoluminescence nous a permis d'obtenir une vision précise, à la fois spatiale et quantitative de ces déformations.
