The aim of the study is to develop a scale to determining pre-school teachers’ perceptions about gender in the classroom and to determine the teachers' perceptions about gender in the classroom. The study is methodological one in terms of developing a measurement tool for determining the pre-school teachers' perceptions about gender in the classroom, and a descriptive one in terms of determining teachers' perceptions about gender in the classroom. The study group of the study consists of 493 pre-school teachers working in independent kindergartens, kindergartens within primary schools and kindergartens within the elementary schools in Nevşehir, Kırşehir, Niğde and Aksaray provinces.
