The purpose of this study is to examine the changes in postural stability in adults with Down Syndrome following exposure to an intervention of integrative dance. It was hypothesized that a significantly increased stability would be observed in participants following 12-weeks of integrative dance training. The participants included 7 individuals with Down Syndrome recruited via convenience sample from a day-habilitation facility. This study was approved by the college institutional review board and informed consent was signed by the individual or their court appointed legal guardian prior to testing.
