Descriptive, content and language features in forensic examination of signatures on paintings

The article summaries some aspects of the research published in two studies and two articles. First, it discusses the phenomenon of signatures with the problems it generates: their typology and legal status. Next, it presents the methodology of expert analysis as the outcome of the outlined research. Finally, it focuses on the methods of how to describe handwriting characteristics and how to establish the handwriting regularities which govern writers’ habits.Articolul prezintă câteva aspecte ale cercetării publica te în două studii şi două articole.
