Da aldeia à universidade: trajetórias socioespaciais das discentes indígenas da UFT – Câmpus de Araguaína

This research deals with the socio-spatial trajectories of the indigenous academics of the Araguaína campus of the Federal University of Tocantins - UFT, enrolled in the first semester of 2018. In the last years, there has been a significant increase of indigenous people in Brazilian universities, this insertion is, in part, a reflection of the public access policies, however, we realize that there are still many barriers to permanence. It proposes to analyze how the socio-spatial trajectory of these indigenous students, from the village to the university, the advances and challenges. Socio-spatial trajectory is understood as the life history of each individual, the experiences lived within a temporality and a spatiality, and does not have a linear and / or continuous constitution. To attend the research objectives, a gender cut was made, recognizing that women, in general, still suffer the effects of living in a patriarchal and androcentric culture and, in the case of indigenous women, the differences when in contact or In the case of living in non-indigenous culture, the gap tends to widen and, in this sense, we can cite a threefold condition that puts her in a situation of fragility: being a woman, being indigenous and being economically vulnerable. To analyze the trajectories in the educational field, we used phenomenology, subsidized by oral history, using the following procedures: literature review, secondary data collection, workshops / conversation wheels, notes and field diaries, digital form, audio recordings and moments of individual interviews authorized by the interlocutors. This research also intends to generate subsidies for the Institution and make suggestions, especially those that have emerged from indigenous academics, so that this formative process to be less painful, for example, were indications of the academics themselves that the processes for them less bureaucratic (cube simplification, specific edicts for indigenous people) and public policies, improvements to existing ones and creation of new ones to meet specific demands. It is intended, from the narratives of these students, to bring their voice and get to know them better, to hear from the protagonists how the village leaves for the University, to identify their difficulties and successes in this process.A presente pesquisa trata das trajetórias socioespaciais das acadêmicas indígenas do câmpus de Araguaína da Universidade Federal do Tocantins – UFT, matriculadas no primeiro semestre de 2018. Nos últimos anos, observou-se um aumento significativo de indígenas nas universidades brasileiras, essa inserção é, em parte, reflexo das políticas públicas de acesso, no entanto, percebemos que ainda existem muitos entraves quanto à permanência. Propõe-se analisar como se dá a trajetória socioespacial destas estudantes indígenas, da aldeia à universidade, os avanços e desafios. Entende-se como trajetória socioespacial a história de vida de cada indivíduo, as experiências vividas dentro de uma temporalidade e uma espacialidade, sendo que não possui uma constituição linear e/ou contínua. Para atender os objetivos da pesquisa efetuou-se o recorte de gênero, por reconhecer que as mulheres, em geral, ainda sofrem os efeitos de viverem em uma cultura patriarcalista e androcêntrica e, no caso das mulheres indígenas, as diferenças, quando em contato ou no caso da vivência na cultura dos não indígenas, o fosso tende a se acentuar e, nesse sentido, podemos citar uma tríplice condição que a coloca em situação de fragilidade: ser mulher, ser indígena e ser vulnerável economicamente. Para analisar as trajetórias no âmbito educacional utilizou-se da fenomenologia, subsidiada pela história oral, com uso dos procedimentos: revisão bibliográfica, coleta de dados secundários, oficinas/rodas de conversa, notas e diários de campo, formulário digital, gravações em áudio e momentos de entrevistas individuais autorizadas pelas interlocutoras. Esta pesquisa, também tem a pretensão de gerar subsídios para a Instituição e com ele fazer sugestões, principalmente as que tenham surgido das acadêmicas indígenas, para que esse processo formativo seja menos doloroso, por exemplo, foram indicações das próprias acadêmicas que os processos para os indígenas sejam menos burocráticos (simplificação do Cubo, editais específicos para indígenas) e sobre as políticas públicas, que haja melhorias nas existentes e criação de outras para atender demandas específicas. Pretende-se, a partir das narrativas destas estudantes, trazer sua voz e conhecêlas melhor, ouvir das protagonistas como ocorre a saída da aldeia para a Universidade, identificar quais são suas dificuldades e sucessos neste processo
