THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL FEATURES OF DETERMINING THE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES OF SOCIAL WORKERS

The formation of professional competences in social workers is an important part of their studies in higher education. The professional competencies of social workers have a complex structure and consist in addition to mastering practical and theoretical methods of social work with social-emotional, social-legal, psychological and life competencies. Another important factor in shaping the professional competencies of social workers is the fulfillment of their successful cases in various spheres of social life as an element of the possibility of successful adaptation and self-realization to the conditions of practical activity within the framework of social work and increase of the social worker's authority among clients of social services and institutions.Key words: competences, professional competencies of social workers, formation of competencies of social workers, life competencies
