Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a radar imaging technique that uses the motion of a radar above a target to generate an image. To generate an image without dependence on complex math, and algorithm known as back-projection must be used. Back-projection allows multiple radar scans from different drone positions to be stacked on each other to produce a larger image. A motion capture system was used to keep track of each position for each scan. A few elements of the algorithm were tweaked in order to yield clearer images quicker.
