This paper describes results of a sample survey on the Teletel service consumers. This survey is managed by the Direction Générale des Télécommunications, France, with the object to describe the demand for this service. The survey was made on a 1787 persons sample. The questions, over seventy, belong to following domains : -connections frequency and time-used -most used services -reasons to connect, or not to connect -satisfaction We show how to use multivariate methods, as correspondence analysis, for processing this survey. This allows to highlight sociological and geographical factors, linked particularly to the type of used services.Stern Daniel, Tan Suy Ho, Jambu Michel.
