HUBUNGAN KEHARMONISAN KELUARGA DAN KONSEP DIRI DENGAN KECENDERUNGAN KENAKALAN REMAJA

Tendency to juvenile delinquency behavior is a social pathology that often occ3urs, the perpetrators of this delinquency are teenagers. Usually these teen3agers claim to be from a family that is not harmonious and has a low self-concept. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of family harmony and self-concept with juvenile delinquency tendencies. The study population was adolescents who lived and settled in some areas prone to juvenile delinquency, between the ages of 15-22 years. With a sample size of 300 students, the 300 students are teenagers aged 15-22 years, namely students of class XI and XII it is using purposive sampling technique. The research method used is correlation with quantitative approaches. There are 3 research instruments, namely the scale of tendency to juvenile delinquency, the scale of family harmony, the scale of self-concept. Retrieval of data used tryout used. The data analysis technique used is regression analysis with the help of a computer program SPSS version 20.0 for windows.The results of data analysis found that (1) there was no relationship of tendency to juvenile delinquency with family harmony with a value of sig>0,05. Thus there is no relationship of tendency to juvenile delinquency with family harmony; (2) There is no relationship of tendency to juvenile delinquency with self-concept, with a value of sig>0,05. Thus there is no relationship between tendency to juvenile delinquency with self-concept. The conclusion of this study is family harmony and self-concept do not have a significant relationship with tendency to juvenile delinquency
