The purpose of this research is to find out how interpersonal communication students use the veil with those around him. With a lot of control over the veil itself and there are some restrictions on the use of veil in the educational environment. A lot of obstacles are found in the surrounding environment of the veil, as well as facial notions that are not visible due to veil. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques with Purposive sampling with data collected through interviews and observations. The results of this study show that interpersonal communication and the obstacles that occur are influenced by each individual's character as well as the veil that covers some of the face
