Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five, this condition is a result of nutritional status that causes the child to be too short at his age. Factors that cause stunting can be caused by direct factors namely maternal factors, genetic factors, food intake, exclusive breastfeeding, infectious diseases. Indirect factors are economic factors, education level, mother's nutritional knowledge, environmental factors. Stunting can have short-term and long-term effects for 2 toddlers.
