Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Terhadap Pengetahuan Ibu dalam Management Demam Menggunakan Tepid Water Sponge pada Anak dirumah di Posyandu Lestari VI Baki Kabupaten Sukoharjo

Abstract Fever is an increase in body temperature above the range that is considered normal. Fever can endanger the safety of children if not treated quickly and appropriately will cause other complications such as seizures and decreased awareness. One of the handling of fever is tepid water sponge. This intervention can reduce body temperature. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on mothers' knowledge in the management of fever using TWS in children at home. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi experimental design with desaign used in this research is pre-test post-test design. The results of data analysis with the Wilcoxon test found that there was an influence of health education on maternal knowledge in the management of fever using tepid water sponge in children with a sig value of 0,000. The conclusion from the results of this study is that there is an influence of health education on maternal knowledge in the management of fever using tepid water sponge in children at home in Posyandu Lestari VI Baki Sukoharjo Regency
