The aim: to determinate the link between frailty syndrome and physical capacity, fear of falls, quality of life in patients after heart surgery in the first stage of rehabilitation. Methodology: study included 30 patients aged 65–90 years old who underwent heart surgery. Patients were put into two groups: with risk of frailty syndrome (n=14) and frailty syndrome (n=12). At the beginning and the end of the first stage of rehabilitation both groups were evaluated for fear of falls, physical capacity, quality of life.
