Integrated landscape study from the physiographic and socioeconomic parameters of the basin hydrographic of the buritizal stream - municipality of Ituiutaba / MG

In the historical course of society, the relations it has established with the environment have undergone, and still suffer, frequent changes over the centuries, especially in the way they make use and appropriation of nature. There are numerous technological and scientific advances aimed at the development of society, whether in the social, industrial and / or historical context, however, the inefficiency or inexistence of planning and the exacerbated use of available environmental resources, have contributed to the intensification of the degradation of society. nature, especially in urban areas, where works such as earthmoving, sloping, embankment and others tend to disrupt the dynamic balance of natural processes. Given this problem, we chose the Buritizal Stream watershed in the municipality of Ituiutaba / MG, as its environmental degradation scenario is accelerated, since different erosive forms are observed in the area and are evolving, particularly during the rainy season. sediments that are carried by the runoff in these periods contributing to the siltation of the river channel. Thus, the general objective of the research was to conduct an integrated study of the landscape associated with the physiographic and socioeconomic parameters of the occupation of the Buritizal stream basin, through the application of techniques that allowed the survey of hydrographic, soil, relief and vegetation, besides analyzing the current use and occupation. The subjects and methods adopted were: a) Bibliographic review; b) fieldwork; c) Physical analysis of particle size; d) digital stereoscopy; e) Vegetation profile and f) Mapping and production of thematic charts. In the study area were found lithostratigraphic units of sandstones of the Marilia and Adamantina Formation of the Bauru Group and basalts of the Serra Geral Formation of the São bento Group; predominantly soils, some with a high concentration of sand and others clay; broad, soft, undulating tops ranging from winding to completely flat and concave, convex and straight strands; mostly 1st order channels; incipient vegetation with arboreal, shrub and sub-shrub variation and areas intended mainly for residential use and occupation. It was concluded that anthropic activities and their direct relationship with urban sprawl have affected the pre-existing dynamic balance and accentuated the erosive processes in the basin, interfering with the natural elements and factors of fulfilling their functions.CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e TecnológicoTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)No decorrer histórico da sociedade, as relações que esta estabeleceu com o meio ambiente sofreram, e ainda sofrem, mudanças frequentes ao longo dos séculos, principalmente no modo como fazem uso e apropriação da natureza. São inúmeros avanços tecnológicos e científicos voltados para o desenvolvimento da sociedade, seja no contexto social, industrial e / ou histórico, no entanto, a ineficiência ou inexistência de planejamento e o uso exacerbado dos recursos ambientais disponíveis contribuíram para a intensificação da degradação ambiental, especialmente em áreas urbanas, onde obras como terraplenagem, cortes no talude, aterros e outros tendem a modificar o equilíbrio dinâmico dos processos naturais. Diante dessa problemática, escolheu-se a bacia hidrográfica do Córrego Buritizal, no município de Ituiutaba / MG, que possui um quadro de degradação ambiental acelerado, perceptível nas diferentes formas erosivas e a intensificação de suas evoluções, principalmente durante os períodos de chuvas, quando os sedimentos são transportados para o canal fluvial, contribuindo assim para o assoreamento do canal. Desta forma, o objetivo geral da pesquisa foi realizar um estudo integrado da paisagem associado aos parâmetros fisiográficos e socioeconômicos da ocupação da bacia do córrego Buritizal, por meio da aplicação de técnicas que permitissem o levantamento das características de hidrografia, solo, relevo e vegetação , além de analisar o uso e ocupação atual. Os materiais e métodos adotados foram: a) Revisão bibliográfica; b) Trabalhos de campo; c) Análise física granulométrica dos solos; d) Estereoscopia digital; e) Perfil da vegetação e f) Mapeamento e produção de cartas e mapas temáticos. Na área de estudo foram encontradas unidades litoestratigráficas de arenitos da Formação Marília e Adamantina do Grupo Bauru e basaltos da Formação Serra Geral do Grupo São Bento; predominantemente solos com alta concentração de areia e argila; topos amplos e suavemente ondulados, vertentes côncavas, convexas e retilíneas; principalmente canais de primeira ordem; vegetação incipiente com variação arbórea, arbustiva e sub arbustiva e áreas destinadas principalmente a uso e ocupação residencial. Concluiu-se que as atividades antrópicas e sua relação direta com a expansão urbana afetaram o equilíbrio dinâmico preexistente e acentuaram os processos erosivos na bacia, interferindo no desempenho e funções dos elementos e fatores naturais
