BACKGROUND: Antitachycardia pacing (ATP) is routinely used to terminate ventricular tachyarrhythmias (VTs). However, little guidance exists on the most effective programming of ATP. OBJECTIVE: This study evaluated whether additional ATP sequences are more effective in reducing implantable cardioverter-defibrillator shocks.
