Relevance of sustainable development in project management

Sin duda alguna uno de los desafíos más importantes de la actual generación de empresarios y emprendedores es la sostenibilidad, con el fin de satisfacer las necesidades de los mercados actuales, pero sin ver comprometidos los recursos de las generaciones venideras. El presente trabajo abordaremos el tema de la importancia que debería ser tenida en cuenta por parte de la PMI, el concepto de la Sostenibilidad, y como a este tema debería darse una mayor relevancia en la gerencia proyectos, basándonos en las normas y guías relevantes del Project Management Institute (PMI), y en su guía Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK en su versión 6 (2017). This paper will address the issue of the importance that should be taken into account by the PMI, the concept of Sustainability, and how this issue should be given greater relevance in management projects, based on the relevant standards and guidelines of Project Management Institute (PMI), and in its Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK guide in version 6 (2017).
