[Abstract] An identification procedure designed to be part of an autotuning method for event-based proportionalintegral (PI) control systems is proposed in this contribution. The rationale of the identification method is based on the information obtained from the limit cycle that the event based sampler plus an adequate tuning of the PI controller can generate in the closed loop. From the information of two limit cycles at different frequencies, the parameters of the common transfer function used for tuning of PI controllers will be deduced. Simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.[Resumen] En esta contribución se propone un procedimiento de identificación diseñado para ser parte de un método de autoajuste para sistemas de c...
