Comportement de la citoyenneté organisationnelle dans le contexte culturel vietnamien

Organization citizenship behavior (OCB) is relatively new concept considered under Organizational Behavior. The reason for choosing OCB as a research ground is its positive relationship with unit performance. Research has shown that OCB helps maximize the organizational performance of companies (Podsakoff et al., 2000). Since this is the goal of every organization, it benefits managers to understand how various variables affect OCB. This understanding can help managers assess what kind of environment to provide their employees, and also what motivates and satisfies them. Nowadays, most of researching in the field of OB held in the geographical context of western culture. As Vietnam particularly and Asia in general are different from the rest of the world, if culture is made the origin of segregation, Gautam et al. (2006) argues that OCB may vary, with change in geographic context; OCB is enacted differently in differently cultural contexts. In Vietnam, many western multinational companies are moving in this region because of cheap labor and immense potential market, so this study would principally be targeted to help in a better understanding of the OCB in a different geographical context.Le comportement de la citoyenneté de l'Organisation (OCB) est un concept relativement nouveau dans le champ du Comportement organisationnel. La raison du choix de l'OCB comme un sujet de recherche réside dans sa relation positive avec la performance de l'unité. La recherche a montré que l'OCB permet de maximiser la performance organisationnelle des entreprises.Il est donc bénéfique pour les manageur de comprendre comment diverses variables influence sur l'OCB. Cette compréhension peut aider les manageur dans leur taches. Aujourd'hui, la plupart des recherches dans le domaine de l'OCB ont été mené dans le contexte des pays occidentaux. Le contexte Vietnamien en particulier et asiatique en général sont différents. Il a été montré que l'OCB peut varier selon le pays. Au Vietnam, de nombreuses entreprises multinationales occidentales s'implantent à cause du cout du travail et du potentiel du marché. Cette étude vise principalement à ces entreprises à mieux comprendre de l'OCB dans un contexte culturel différente
