International audienceThis follow-up paper comes from a workshop focusing on different practical ways of teaching geometry at the primary school level. In part 1, we use some pieces from a corpus of data videos, elicitation interviews (Boutrais-Ferrero, 2015, Vermersch, 1994) to investigate how the teacher exercises her didactic vigilance (Charles-Pézard, 2010) when preparing her teaching sequence. Then (part 2), we identify needs that must be addressed in training as well as when designing a resource. In part 3, we present a Role-Play activity used in geometry teacher training involving the physical manipulation of materials (e.g, the folding of paper).
