Recently, the enactment, declaration and adscription of several international agreements have led to government agendas, mainly underdeveloped, to give their attention to topics that, even though their respective legal framework and applicable regulations already existed, recent updates and formulations regarding new deals, have resulted in the reformulation of public policies aimed for them to be complied. In México, the observation or adoption of international agreements, especially the ones regarding environmental matters, are reflected in the reforms to the Constitution with the sole purpose of complying with said international agreements, thus, aligning the government’s agenda to the development and implementation of public policies.
