This article analyzes the trajectory of the most famous vampire in the media culture of the 20th century, by way of a comparative analysis of six feature films produced between 1922 and 2012. Our approach posits the concept of intercultural adaptation, which emphasizes the sociocultural contexts of production of the movies. The selection of the six films, among more than 500 titles in which Dracula appears, takes into account two main factors: the massive circulation of the features and the fact that all are adaptations of the same source text (the novel written by Bram Stoker), which allows us to draw more precise comparisons.O objetivo central deste artigo consiste em analisar a trajetória do mais famoso dos vampiros na cultura midiática ...
