Literatura de formação. Narrativas e representações de mulheres de boas maneiras

This article is focused in the historical construction of the appropriate behaviour for women. In that sense, the source of research mobilized is a book that contains a series of social conducts examples, named O Marido Perfeito e a Mulher Ideal (The Perfect Husband and the Ideal Wife) (1956). From the total of 49 (forty-nine) chronicles, 5 (five) were selected, in which was possible to point out questions related to the expected female behaviour, the affirmation of stereotypes and social condition. The writings were studied following the notion that the narratives constitute specific resources of representation in their capacity of representing the past, also, could be comprehended in diverse writing and temporal plans which subscribe themselves in multiple layers of time. The latent power of the narrative representations pointed the plural character of the produced presences, giving to see the representations constructed about women in multiple optics, glimpsed in the reassurance of established manners and, equally, conflicting with the standardizations and idealizations conveyed in the chronicles of the book.O presente artigo está concentrado na construção histórica dos comportamentos adequados para mulheres. Nesse sentido, a fonte de pesquisa mobilizada foi um livro que contém uma série de exemplos de condutas sociais, intitulado O Marido Perfeito e a Mulher Ideal (1956). Do total de 49 (quarenta e nove) crônicas, foram selecionadas 5 (cinco), nas quais foi possível evidenciar questões relacionadas aos comportamentos femininos esperados, a afirmação de estereótipos e lugares sociais. Os textos foram abordados segundo a noção de que as narrativas constituem recursos de representação específicos em sua capacidade de representar o passado, bem como, podem ser compreendidas em diversos planos escriturários e temporais que se inscrevem em múltiplos estratos de tempo. A potencialidade de representação das narrativas evidenciou o caráter plural das presenças produzidas, dando a ver as representações construídas acerca de mulheres sob múltiplas óticas, vislumbradas na reafirmação de modos estabelecidos e, igualmente, conflitantes com as padronizações e idealizações veiculadas nas crônicas do livro
