Abstract

Introduction. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is now a public health problem worldwide. The incidence and prevalence of it has increased over the past three decades as well as the costs of treatment. The figures are alarming morbidity and mortality; in Mexico, this is one of the leading causes of inpatient hospital care and emergency services, the objective was to interpret the experiences that the patient with renal disease has had during his illness.
