In this thesis, the usage of a local DC-grid for energy sharing is optimized. Expansion of existing PV facilities to increase energy production and implementation of an energy storage system is evaluated. Three control strategies for energy storage system is developed in order to store surplus energy production, lower peak power demand och utilize price differences in time. Without the DC-grid the expansion of PV energy production would lead to an increase of 10 650 kWh surplus energy. With the DC-grid 90% of the surplus energy is used within the connected buildings which makes the PV expansion profitable. The most effecient control strategy for energy storage is storing surplus energy in weekends and lowering peak power demand in weekdays....
