Add to ORKGA case of giant leiomyoma of the oesophagus and cardia is presented. Magnetic resonance imaging was particularly useful for assessing the relationship of the tumour to the neighbouring structures. Radical resection was performed by partial oesophagogastrectomy with intrathoracic oesophagogastrostomy.
