The one-dimensional exciton diffusion length was increased from ~16 to ~24 nm by annealing the film in carbon disulfide solvent vapor. Planar heterojunction solar cells were fabricated using bilayers of these materials and it was found that solvent vapor annealing increased the short circuit current density by 46%.
