Depending on the level of technological advancement knowledge has always been shared and passed on from one generation to the other using different modes such as oral tradition and writings. Since the success of any organisation in the society depends on what knowledge it holds, many corporate organisations are embracing knowledge management programmes in order to improve their performance. The WASH sector is one sector where the application of knowledge management is being appreciated.
