Introduction: Medical malpractice can be defined as a permanent or temporary damage occurring in the patient as a result of health workers neglecting to apply the expected standard practice or intentionally failing to do so, applying the expected standard practice incorrectly and/or incompletely or wanting to apply the right practice but failing to do so for various individual or systemic reasons.
