However, in gastric cancer, its clinical utility as a useful prognostic molecular marker remains unclear. Methods: The prognostic importance of Cav-1 expression was retrospectively analyzed by immunohistochemistry in 148 patients with gastric cancer who had undergone radical gastrectomy. Results: Cav-1 expression was positive in 23 (15.5%) patients and negative in 125 (84.5%) patients.
