Bu araştırma, toprağa değişik kaynaklar ve artan miktarlarda verilen azotun ıspanak bitkisindeki verim, nitrat ve kimi mineral madde kapsamı üzerine etkilerini belirlemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla serada bir saksı denemesi kurulmuştur.Deneme topraklarına azot, ekimden önce, üre, amonyum sülfat ve amonyum nitrat gübreleri halinde 0, 25, 50, 100, 200 ve 400 kg N/da'a karşılık gelecek şekilde uygulanmıştır.Deneme sonunda hasat edilen bitkilerde kuru madde, nitrat ve bazı mineral madde (toplam-N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn) analizleri yapılmıştır.
