St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Lagrange Street, Toledo, Ohio, 1995 - choir loft

A color snapshot of the choir loft inside the church building on Lagrange Street in Toledo, Ohio. The church was built in 1875 for St. Hedwig Catholic Church. St. Hedwig was the first church built for the growing Polish community in Toledo. In 2010 the church merged with St. Adalbert church to form the Saints Adalbert & Hedwig Parish. The Catholic Diocese closed the church in 2012 and deconsecrated the building in 2016. The photo was taken in 1995 during a tour sponsored by the Metro-Toledo Churches United (MTCU) as part of their annual summer church tours
