St. Hedwig was the first church built for the growing Polish community in Toledo. In 2010 the church merged with St. Adalbert church to form the Saints Adalbert & Hedwig Parish. The Catholic Diocese closed the church in 2012 and deconsecrated the building in 2016. The photo was taken in 1995 during a tour sponsored by the Metro-Toledo Churches United (MTCU) as part of their annual summer church tours
