Aims and objectives: Peripheral cementifying fibroma (PCF) is a solitary reactive gingival growth that predominately affects young females and is usually located in the anterior maxilla. It exhibits a controversial varied nomenculature owing to a diverse histopathologic spectrum.Case description: A case of Peripheral cementifying fibroma located on the mandibular posterior gingiva of a 50 year female patient is described. The lesion was solitary, sessile, firm to hard in consistency and measured about 2 cm in its greatest diameter.
