Rimski napisi iz Celja, najdeni med 1991 in 2003

The article discusses Roman inscriptions discovered duringthe  construction  on  the  Mariborska  Road,  as  well  as  duringarchaeological  excavations  in  the  area  of  Mohorjev  atrij  andon the courtyard of the Knežji dvor (Princely Court) in Celje.The greatest number of new inscribed stones were recoveredat Knežji dvor, where discoveries were made of part of the lateRoman walls, the remains of Roman roads and buildings, andseveral medieval construction phases, the inscriptions havingbeen  used  as  a  building  material.  The  more  important  findsfrom Knežji dvor include a dedicatory inscription for Belenus,a fragment of a late Roman imperial inscription, an honorificinscription to Iulia Procilla, fragments of two honorific inscriptionsto Varius Clemens, a tombstone of a previously unknown duumvirof Celeia, and a tombstone of the members of the Ennii family.A votive altar to the Genius of the city of Celeia and a largefunerary  stele  were  found  at  Mariborska  Road  and  a  smallundetermined fragment of an inscription at Mohorjev atrij.V članku so obravnavani rimski napisi, odkriti ob gradbenihdelih na Mariborski cesti, ob izkopavanjih na prostoru Mohorjevegaatrija in na dvorišču Knežjega dvora v Celju. Največ novih napisovizvira  iz  Knežjega  dvora,  kjer  so  odkrili  del  poznoantičnegaobzidja,  ostanke  rimskih  cest  in  stavb  ter  več  srednjeveškihgradbenih faz, napisni kamni pa so bili uporabljeni kot gradbeničleni. Med važnejšimi najdbami iz Knežjega dvora so votivninapis za Belena, odlomek nekega poznoantičnega cesarskeganapisa, počastitveni napis za Julijo Procilo, odlomka dveh napisovza Varija Klemensa, nagrobnik doslej še neizpričanega celejskegažupana in nagrobnik Enijev. Ob gradbenih delih na Mariborskicesti so naleteli na votivni oltar za Zavetnika mesta Celeje inna večjo nagrobno stelo, pri izkopavanjih v Mohorjevem atrijupa  na  manjši  nedoločljivi  odlomek  napisnega  kamn
