Železnodobno naselje in grobišča na Libni: Topografija in viri

The  article  presents  the  results  of  field  survey  of  the  ar-chaeological site of Libna, one of the most important Iron Agecenters in southeastern Slovenia. The small finds from Libnawere  already  presented  to  the  archaeological  public  decadesago,  but  at  that  point  exact  topographic  investigation  of  thesite  had  not  been  carried  out.  Field  survey  at  Libna  in  1992documented seven inhabitation units: a fortified settlement andsix tumulus cemeteries, found at the end of the 19th century.A supplement at the end of the article provides archival sourc-es important for a correct understanding of the settlement structureand  the  history  of  research  into  this  siteV  članku  objavljamo  rezultate  terenskega  pregleda  arheo-loškega najdišča Libna, ki sodi med pomembnejša železnodobnasredišča  v  jugovzhodni  Sloveniji.  Drobno  gradivo  z  Libne  jebilo  pred  desetletji  že  predstavljeno  strokovni  javnosti,  nisopa  bile  takrat  opravljene  natančne  topografske  raziskave  naj-dišča.  S  terenskim  pregledom  smo  leta  1992  na  Libni  doku-mentirali sedem poselitvenih enot: utrjeno naselje in šest go-milnih grobišč, ki so jih v glavnem raziskali že ob koncu devet-najstega  stoletja.  V  dodatku  na  koncu  članka  objavljamo  ar-hivske  vire,  pomembne  za  pravilno  razumevanje  poselitvenihstruktur  in  za  zgodovino  raziskav  tega  najdišč
