There has been a lot of research concerning the relationship between class sizes and student achievement. Some argue that class size reduction is an effective strategy for learning improvement because in smaller classes, teachers are able to focus on each student individually. Opponents to class size reduction argue that though student achievement might be associated with smaller classes, there is no solid evidence that proves that point. This poster presentation will discuss whether or not class size have an effect on student achievement and the pros and cons of smaller classes versus bigger ones
